HandyTube Responds to the COVID-19 Outbreak

The safety and well-being of our customers and employees is always our top priority. It is impossible to anticipate the outcome of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global crisis. As a result, we are seeking to understand current impacts, potential risks and mitigation opportunities in order to assess our supply chain resilience.

We understand that the rapidly evolving situation can be unnerving for you. New information comes to light daily, and even hourly. We are closely monitoring these developments and look to experts such as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) for guidance. In order to maintain a safe environment and address our customer’s concerns, we’ve done the following:

  • Our cleaning protocols have been enhanced.
  • Additional hand sanitizers are inside our facility and at all entranceways.
  • We encourage all employees to take common-sense health precautions recommended by the CDC, such as frequent hand washing or using hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol to stay healthy.
  • We have a stay-at-home policy for employees who are feeling ill.
  • We are monitoring and limiting travel for our entire employee community and have implemented strict domestic and international travel policies.
  • Meeting size has been limited to prevent the spread of illness and we are using Microsoft Teams for all Associates.
  • We have expanded work-from-home options.

Additionally, we source no raw material from China, Italy or South Korea and have seen no impact on our supply chain. All shipments to our customers are delivered within two to eight weeks, allowing sufficient time for any virus contained on packaging to dissipate.

We are doing our utmost to protect you and the HandyTube team members serving you, and will continue to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
